The Mothman Legend, From A Christian Perspective

Mothman

My father has always been interested in the Mothman, a legendary creature sighted in and around Point Pleasant, WV between November 12, 1966, and December 15, 1967.

You can find plenty of information on the Internet and in books about the Mothman, but we here at ETS we are interested in the creature from a CHRISTIAN perspective. What is the TRUTH from God’s perspective?

Was he a cryptid? Interdimentional? Demonic entity? Fallen angel?

I have found two sources thus far of Christians talking about the Mothman.

First is from L A Marzulli’s book Further Evidence and his interview with Lawrence Gray who witness the Mothman materializing in his bedroom one night. Mr. Gray had previously done missionary work in Papua New Guinea, where supernatural and paranormal activity is commonplace.

Here is an excerpt from that interview about some of Mr. Gray’s previous spiritual experience in Papua New Guinea:

You can view the entire interview, including his encounter with the mothman, HERE.

You can purchase L.A.’s book HERE.

L.A.’s website is lamarzulli.wordpress.com.

Next, I came across Justen Faull’s podcast entitled The Mothman Portals.

Whether you agree with Justen’s analyses or not, his podcasts are always well researched and well presented. Listening to ALL of his podcasts is on my spiritual bucket list!

Following are two books recommended by L.A. Marzulli. I have included interviews of each of the authors as well. These books are NOT written from a Christian perspective. Click on each to purchase on Amazon.
